my personal mecca, did not disappoint. docents were amazing. do the indepth tour for sure and do it early in the day so you can enjoy the rest of the grounds and area afterwards. Like that they don't rush you off the property after your tour

This is one of Frank Lloyd Wrights best known works, and it is a pleasure and privilege to visit. The cafe is one of the best we've ever seen at a visitor center.
Our second visit after a 40-year hiatus reminded us of how impressed we'd been by the initial experience. Our tour guide was excellent, and added considerably to what we already knew about the place and its history. Our only criticism would be that the experience of visiting the property -- not the house itself -- has become somewhat commercial. That...

Just got back from visiting Falling water on June 8, 2013. I've been looking forward to visiting for a long time. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful architecture! Amazing to think this was built in 1937 and looks incredible still to this day. Definately worth the trip to PA to visit.
This was a beautiful and very informative visit. The house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright has been well restored and maintained by the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. We took the two-hour tour of the house and it was worth the extra cost; it allowed us to take photographs and keep the group to 10 in number. The docent was very knowledgeable...

I'd long wanted to see Fallingwater, and it didn't disappoint, it is an amazing piece of architecture in a beautiful location. I did the normal tour, where you're taken round the house by a guide in a group of about 10. The only reasons I've only given four out of five is the horrible bit at the end where they...

This was our first visit to Fallingwater. My friend and I signed up for the brunch tour. It was a guided group tour of about 10 people. On this tour, you're allowed to take photos inside the house, and at the end of the tour, you dine on the patio. Brunch was good, but it was chilly out on the...

Having seen photos of this home/museum we recognize that there's no substitute for taking the tour. We had a great tour guide and learned much about the history and the incidentals shaping the creation, etc., of Fallingwater. Worth the trip.
This is our second time to Fallingwater, the FL Wright house on Mill Run. The last time we were here was 40 years ago. It was even better this time! The Conservancy was updated the visitor center and parking and the paths on the property, making it easy to see the House and the surrounding area. I would recommend the...

Fallingwater should be on everyone's list of must-see American architecture. Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece defies description. There is nothing else like it and it is a marvel to behold. Department store magnet Edgar Kaufmann Sr. commissioned an aging and nearly forgotten Wright to design a home in the beautiful Laurel Highlands. A work of wonder was created and the end...
