Colt State Park is a beautiful place to drive by the bay. We parked in the last parking lot and walked down a trail to a beach. Beautiful day in Bristol, RI.

Huge open spaces, grass, bay, what more could you want? We came just after sunset, though there was some left of it to appreciate. Late April was early enough in the year that it wasn't crawling with people yet, so it was a relaxing end to a busy day.

We went to the park on a Wednesday morning, so there weren't many people. Great place to walk and bird watch. Wear comfortable shoes and a light windbreaker.

This place is simply breathtaking. Great place for a picnic and a barbecue. You can sit on the rocks and watch boats and birds and people fishing. Having the addition of water views lets this park trump many others. It always seems to be tiday and well kept.

i took my softball team to a couple of tournaments at colts vpark and it was a nice place to play in the hot summer and after the games ended the beach was nice to visit

Very nice just to drive around, and also quite walkable. Lovely vistas and peaceful surroundings, Definitely worth a visit.

I love exploring colt State Park and just sitting by the water. If you are dressed appropriately it is great in any season!
