Live 1 mile from the town beach and find it insulting how expensive it is for town residences. The beach is very expensive for visitors and over crowded. Buildings look like they are all individual beach clubs. Pooer value for your money!!!!

This beach is a great beach for walking. Unfortunately, recent storms have really done major damage to the beach and parking lot. There are large rocks in the parking lot and alot of the beach sand has disappeared. But by summer, it will be back to normal. Working on it now. Great place for surfing and the water is clean... Although Sandy beat up the beach and the parking lot, I still continue to drive 45 minutes just to walk my dog along what I consider the best beach in RI. Soft rolling waves and a nice coast line to walk the dogs in the winter and enjoy the sun in the summer.

Big beach and big waves. Very pretty area. Sandy storm mutilated the beach while we were there but the waves and the ocean was still beautiful to watch

The beach and the rocks are beautiful. We love to listen to the surf crash and splash over the rocks. Most days you will find at least a couple of surfboarders. Especially nice in the fall, when the vacationers are gone.

....otherwise the beach can be very crowded in summer. You also have to pay to get on and park during summer season...off season is FREE. It's an excellent swimming beach, perfect for long walks to mouth of Narrow River, and incredible views. My home beach!

Used to be one of the nicest beaches in the state. Now they charge walk-on guests. Taking public space and not open to everyone.
