Variety of stores and restaurants. Entirely outdoors. Easy to drive to from the beach resorts but Broadway in the Beach has a lot more variety with a lot of value however the Commons is nice for a fancier shopping.

This place has something for every age group. Can feed huge catfish, ride jet boats, putt putt golf, retail therapy, great restaurants, helicopter rides and much more.
I'm not a huge shopper but my girlfriend is. We easily spent hours at The Market Common. There are a ton of shopping venues as well as many dining options. The grounds/decor are absolutely beautiful and make for a very relaxing shopping experience. Parking isn't too bad either but it could get a little hairy depending on when you go....

My daughter and I decided to make the drive from North Myrtle Beach to The Market Commons for an afternoon shopping trip. It is a beautiful place but many of the buildings are empty.

They were pet friendly, which meant we could shop and walk our dog at the same time. The staff in all of the stores were very accommodating also.
Whether it's the latest release at the box office you want to see, gourmet pizza you want to eat, or if you just want to shop, The Market Common has something for everyone! After visiting the many boutiques my friends and I enjoyed a specialty pizza at California Pizza. Gouda cheese on a pizza is to die for!
Went to visit last weekend (May 11, 2013). Nice place to spend time, interesting shops and good restaurants. Ate at Gordon Bierch, had a very pleasant dining experience.
This part of Myrtle Beach was a nice surprise. Very walkable and attractive. This is a new development, with a shopping area with restaurants and cinema. The houses look to be Edwardian townhouses. The stores were upscale but there was a good variety. Great restaurants too.
The Market Common was easy to get to and has several nice shops. It's clean and has a great atmosphere.
