It cost $5 per person. I'm from New York State so I'm used to paying out the wazoo for everything. But $20 for a family of four is a bit over priced. We only went to the beach and it was pretty nice but crowded. The bathrooms were pretty gross and not well-stocked. For the admission price, I would expect... More

Ilive here and love this place! For the most part its free of annoying tourists and is super clean. On another note...I have never been to a free state park. Parks take maintaince and upkeep. I dont know anyone who works for free. It also takes insurance for you to enjoy yourself at the park because we live in a... More

I am afraid of heights, but this is not scary at all. We went soon after opening, and walked right on. We were even given a discount without a coupon. It is worth the money!

Yes, the admission cost is a bit of a snag on the experience, but the beach was beautiful. We went mid-morning and walked a couple miles up the beach looking for sea shells, and I found more nice shells here than anywhere else we went to while at Myrtle Beach. There weren't a lot of people either, which was nice... More

State parks should be free of admission. Therefor I'm highly diassapointed in a beautiful site that cost $, as if myrtle beach isn't a tourist trap town anyway.

we live in Conway, SC and we always go to the state park. the beach is clean and the park is clean and they have an abundance of picnic tables for people that don't like constant sun. the 5.00 entrance fee is good all day for those that had to leave and come back. we buy the yearly passport for... our room wasnt ready, we had waited a long time, our dogs needed to get out and walk around, so we were driving around trying to pass the time away, we saw the sign to mbsp so we pulled to office and explained we just wanted to go in for a few minutes to walk our dogs and we still... More

We took a chance and came from Massachusetts to camp here. Our site was great, quiet, private, and only a 5 minute walk from the beach! The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked, as was the camp store which had good hours. Check in & out were so easy, we love this place! We stayed for a week, and... More

This is a great place to see the beauty that started to attract people years ago. If you get the chance it's worth the visit. It's nice to see all the pretty trees and pristine beauty versus the overdevelopment of myrtle beach

Ramps and distance to beach are shorter than most beach access sites. Restrooms clean. Lots of parking and a great children's play area.
