I liked the fact that it was not a huge place, but there were still very interesting artifacts and a very reasonable entrance fee. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. Great place to take the kids.

This small museum and gift shop has a terrific collection of dinosaurs, including a full skeleton of a t rex and a Colombian mammoth skull. They have a triceratops and dinosaur eggs. They have a large collection of near perfect fossils and ammonites. The gift shop is great too. A large selection of items for children, beautiful posters (including one... More

The best. Children will love it. Not only for geolgy interests, but lots of dinosaurs. Also go to the college museum in Rapid City. It is also top notch!

Although this museum has a very large collection of fossils and prehistoric skeletons, including Stan, we found it be rather small and confined. The gift shop area is actually bigger than the one-room museum. Being only one room, we felt that the admission was quite high. If you are into detailed information and history about dinosaurs you'll find lots to... More

great display of prehistoric fossils and history. T-Rex and my personal favorite, saber tooth tiger was awesome. Just don't expect a huge museum and you'll be glad you went.

For anyone who is interested in dinosaurs this is the place to visit. Plenty of skeletons and beautiful geodes and rocks. Worth the money and quite interesting. We spent two hours looking at everything and the time just flew.

If you love dinosaurs and fossils, this is the museum for you! While the museum itself is really one huge room, there is a lot on display. Everything from rocks, minerals and gems, dinosaur bones, and fossilized fish and plants are here. There are several almost complete skeletons of several species of dinosaurs. I was told the museum has the second... More
