I have been to this aquarium many times and have always enjoyed it. We bought the family membership this year which is great if you live in the area. Highly recommend the behind the scenes tour, my wife and I did the one for Ocean Journey and it was great. More

We purchased a package through our hotel which made this a great value since we had up to a year to use the tickets. Everyone was exceptionally nice, especially those monitoring the stations where you could interact with the marine life. There are also numerous locations to dine outside of the aquarium. More

Though saltwater fishes seem to attract more viewers, the freshwater cichlid tank is often teeming with fry, appearing like an underwater dust cloud surrounding the protective parents. Freshwater rays, discus, and many other fish familiar to aquarists... More

I love to see all of the aquatic animals. The walk was very tiring but it was worth it. More

The aquarium itself is divided into two parts- ocean and river. Both have excellent presentations of the creatures which inhabit our waters. The jelly fish were amazing as were the penguins. The snakes and other creepy crawlers were also interesting. Their huge tanks allow one to see a large amount of fish in one place, especially the sharks. The one... More

We were so looking forward to our visit to the aquarium. Unfortunately, there were too many school field trips to enjoy our visit. The kids were unsupervised and running around pushing and shoving. In the future, we might go back but will avoid May or call to see if any field trips are scheduled. More

Great for families and kids. I live in the area and recently took my Mom for her birthday. She spent about 3 hours looking through the river and ocean journies. Personally I could have seen it all in less than 2 hours. If you are bringing kids be sure to bring then snacks if you plan to make it a... More

This is in the middle of Chattanooga, TN and the venue is amazing. Great opportunity to spend a day with the kids or just with your spouse. The beauty of sea life is well displayed in this aquarium. More
