Very easy to get to games even with all the crazy traffic and fans. I have to say I have never seen so much Orange in my Life. Its like electic energy to go there...

I got a tour from a local and only got to see the outside of the buildings/pool, but overall it was a pretty campus. I liked the architecture and rolling hills, but did not get to experience the classes. I would think about attending based on the campus alone.
UT is the epicenter of the Orange Nation. Don't just drive through campus, but (if you can), park and visit the McClung museum, Clarence Brown theater, Neyland Stadium and some halls/buildings. The"hill" is alway pretty and the student esprit de corp is second to none. Proud to be an alumnus.
Parking at the university is a challenge, and we were taking the threat of ticketing seriously. We stopped at the university visitor center where the woman was surprisingly UNhelpful. Very interesting displays of Egyptian, Japanese/Chinese, American Indians, and prehistoric creatures at this small museum on the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. If you love museums, this is a nice one.
Nice area, lots of restaurants, bars & little stores very close & within walking distance. Also close to area hospitals, just in case. School spirit is shown everywhere. Close to downtown & World’s fair park/sun sphere.
I have attended some events here and I must say it just seems like there is a diffrent breed of kid here. When I was in college it was all about me. tucked away in the Art and Architecture building on Volunteer Blvd is the excellent (albeit small) Ewing Gallery; not far away off the Circle Drive that serves the Student Sercvices Bldg and Administration complex is the Frank H. McClung Museum ... last show I really enjoyed there was about the art of Zen Buddhism -- nicely curated.
family fun. would go back and recommend to others. nice people great area and clean. kids loved. enjoy
Well, lets face it, no college is going to be PERFECT. BUT! UT is supposed to be an excellent college. I have had the most trouble not from my professors but from PARKING. Make sure you get there before 9 AM to get a good spot or any spot for that matter. I love my instructors and advisor.
