Was there to see Leonard Cohen so what could be bad? I was in the balcony and the seats and leg room were tight. It's an old theatre though so I accept those things.

We visit the Orpheum Theater several times a year, the latest was to see the Broadway production of "Mary Poppins"....which was great! It's the closest thing to Broadway in our part of the world. If you're looking for a tradition to start with your children, this is a great choice! I began bringing my daughter as soon as she was... More

A comfortable venue that is just the right size for live theatre performances, classic movies and intimate types of concerts. I love the balcony, but have your walking shoes on!

Great atmosphere. Beautiful old style opera and playhouse. Features many off Broadway productions and many famous plays and musicals. Each year is a surprise at the variety of entertainment.

The Orpheum Theater has been restored to it's original glorious opulence. The architecture is stunningly beautiful. There is not a bad seat in the house.

We were in town whilst the Million Dollar Quartet was showing and after going to Graceland, seeing the Sun Studios, we couldnt miss this - one of our highlights of staying in Memphis. Show was fantastic. We also happened to go the same night as Johnny Cash's sister was in the auidence! Mad. Great show and great theatre. Ran by... More

Recently saw Million Dollar Quartet at the Orpheum - fantastic show. It was my first time at this theater. It's just beautiful inside. The dual grand staircase is gorgeous. I was really pleasantly surprised, thinking it might be a bit run down since it is an older theater......Btw, I saw MDQ in NY and Memphis. Same exact show, wonderful sound... More

We visited this theater to see the Million Dollar Quartet. This is a beautiful theater and it was nice to see this particular play, which is all about the birth of Rock N Roll, in this theater. The sight lines were just fine for our seats and it looked like all the various sections provided great viewing angles to the... More

The best was when I go to Tyler Perrys plays where they allow a mixed drink in the orpheum during the play!
