I've driven through Falls Creek three or four times and always throught that the place was somewhat small and perhaps not worthy of the Resort status. But last weekend I stayed at the resort with four mates competing in the 3 Peaks Challenge cycling event. I was surprised how much was hidden in the bushland above the Bogong High Plains... More

The area around Falls Creeks has some of the best walks I've been on. This is a great summer destination if you enjoy bushwalking. Ropers Lookout is great as well as the lesser known Cope Mountain walk. Also look out for Falls Creek Falls. It's just 200-300m walk just off the road at the start of Falls Creek Resort

Not much shopping or anything else besides skiing really. Thought there might be more events / family activities organised by the resort, but it is all about skiing and that is pretty much it!

We loved falls creek, love the restaurants, lifts. and people and skiing. The drive up was pleasent, but coming home even better snowing and everything white and magical.

We were lucky this year due to massive snow falls however we loved all the runs (wide and lots of options) and how you live on the mountain. It has a beautiful village feel where you are surrounded by snow and not roads or cars.

it was my first time skiing and falls creek is a great place for first timers. there are very easy slopes and then it advances slowly, which i think is great. i recommend taking lessons, they could be costly but theyre definitely worth it. the instructors are so helpful and theyll teach you every basic step so you're in very... Had a great day's skiing at Falls Creek. Snow cover was the best in years. The facilities at Falls has been upgraded over the last few years and have made the moving around the mountain very easy.

So much to do - even if you don't ski. Fabulous ski school for the kids. We had the most ridiculously good fun on the tube run!

We went to Falls with a large group of friends, some who had never skiied and others who were more intermediate and it catered for all of us brilliantly. The beginners all did lessons and the instructors were friendly and nice. Our daughter also did one day at the ski school and they looked after her really well. There was... More
