Wonderful old train but it also shows you parts of the peninsular you would not do by car. Enjoyed the views of the bird life at Swan Bay and the slow leisurely trip through the countryside. Fascinating watching the local kids waving to all of us on board - good to see them getting so much enjoyment.

We caught the 10.15am train from Queenscliff with our bikes and 3 kids. Got off at Drysdale and rode back. Gentle down hill, great ride quite easy - lovely views as you come back into Queenscliff. It's a day trip I've wanted to do for ages and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Train for the family was $40 one way... More

We arrived at about midday and had to use sat/nav to find it because of the poor signage. We had bought our tickets on line and had very little info prior to visiting, but the helpful staff explained all that was happening. The only time our tickets were checked was when we went on our pre booked 40 minute train... More
