If you get the chance to visit, allow a minimum of 2 hours. The building is beautifully laid out, inside and outside, with lots of entertaining and educational information about our former president and his family and life. We were lucky enough to visit on his 89th birthday, and were served cake, ice cream and punch. The hosts and hostesses... More

We went when they had the "Washington DC in Miniature". This was like very intricate doll houses of the white house and capitol. The kids enjoyed it...it was a travelling show that required an entry fee - but well worth the added expense.

We greatly enjoyed learning more about President Bush's background including his military flight training, I had forgotten how much happened during his four years as President--he faced many challenges and made wise decisions, we enjoyed learning more about their family too! We spend 4 hours in the museum and could have spent longer.

Other than an over aggressive photographer in the oval office display, my entire family thoroughly enjoyed visiting 41's library. We all learned a great deal and grew to appreciate a bit more this kind, decent man who served so well.

I had the George Bush Library as a possible stop either on my way to Houston or on my way back. With the weather still being pretty rough in my neck of the woods, I did decide to come back through College Station and give it a look. Very real bargain at $7, I'm really glad I decided to go.... More

The library is state of he art. Very impressive. You can spend as little or as much time in each room. The 9/11 displays take you back in time like it was yesterday. Very well done. I enjoyed seeing Laura's dresses. You can get your photo taken sitting at the president's desk in the Oval Office- very cool. Sitting at... More

I visited because I read good things about this place. The history of the Bush's was well put together and in such a way that I felt I became satisfyingly more intimately aware and informed of them as people not just the first family. Kids will enjoy learning from the informational sheets with a list if questiois given at that... More

Always thought #41 was a kind and decent man and this museum shows that side of him. Very heartfelt letters about his war buddies who perished and the emotions of sending soldiers off to war. I don't think there will be any President's in the future who will serve in the armed forces so Bush's & others perspective will be... More

One of us is a Democrat and one is Republican but we both loved this place. Incredibly thoughtfully done and great for all ages. It keeps kids in mind (we had none with us but we took a children’s info hunt fill-out sheet, filled it out as we toured, learned from it, and later sent it to our granddaughter, 6;... More
