We spent a day here with friends who live in Dalls. Being from the UK we found this place amazing. There is a wide range of shops, activities (bucking bull, maze etc) and places to eat. We really enjoyed watching the longhorn cattle being driven down the street and stocked up on cowboy souvenirs. The kids bought cowboy hats. We... More

We went Sunday late afternoon & evening. Many things closed for the day or closed early evening, so we went back on Monday afternoon. More people on Sunday until the 4:00 cattle drive, then it cleared out. We enjoyed walking around, shopping and eating. We took a horse drawn carriage ride- nice to get off our feet, but at $10... We went to Fort Worth Stockyard to see the longhorns come down the street. It was an awesome experience. We went to the 11:30 show there is also one at 4:00. It only takes about 10 minutes, and they march right down the Main Street with cowboys. You can stand anywhere and see them. My husband also paid $5 to... More

When you think of Texas what pops into your mind first? Longhorns maybe?! You can see them driving along Farm to Market roads all over the state but the only place to see a real cattle drive like they used to, is in the streets of Fort Worth’s Historic Stockyards. Twice a day the cowboys and girls drive the Fort... More

I had been to Dallas on a number times for business. I had never had the time to look around Fort Worth so on this occasion I decided to hire a car and get myself to Fort Worth. I asked the hotel what I should visit. I checked on Trip Advisor. It looked that I had to take a trip... More

This is one of those attractions that you really only need to see once. Besides the cattle the Stockyards were a little boring. But it is still worth seeing, just once.

if you've ever been to a true "tourist attraction", say Tombstone AZ or Fisherman's Wharf or Old Town in San Diego, don't waste your time here. Main Street shopping can be fun but is pretty overpriced. Saturday was too crowded to move. more people than things to see.

There is so much to do at the Stockyards. Little shops to buy things, laid back places to eat, and great attractions like concerts, rodeos, museums. I took my two year old out for the day. He got to take a picture on a real Longhorn for $5, visit the petting zoo for a $1, see a gun show for... More

What a cool place. I am a huge fan of John Wayne and old westerns and if you feel the same way, you will feel right at home. Not a huge place, but, boy howdy, is it full of character! Lots of places to stroll in to and really old buildings to poke around in. I know its not cool... More
