We were told this is a good winery to visit so we drove all the way there. It is located in no where with very “normal house”. Alright, maybe the wine is great. We try to figure out where is the entrance from the “parking lot” that just an open space without any sign. However, it has a sign saying “by reservation only”. No wonder the lot is empty without any customer on a busy Saturday afternoon. My recommendation is don’t waste your time to drive this far and go to other vineyard that has better hospitality.

We were so suprised to find this winery out in the middle of no where (we're from the east coast).

Mike was a great host. He explained all our wines in the tasting.

The wines were so good. I loved the Viognier full of flavor. All the wines we tasted were equally as good.

The place looks like it would be a great place to sit back shoot pool, listen to music and eat pizza. So much character!!!!

We would definitely go back!!!

Did a quick little drop by and enjoyed the sweet wines for an hour. Took the little one to see the animals outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. The property is nice, like a rustic style restaurant inside. No pizza oven on the day we came, so we didn't try the food. Would return for the wines!

Bit of a scenic drive to get here but worth it. We were here in April with the Passport Tour (our first time) and returned in September for another tasting and to buy more wine.

Tasting room is comfortable and pleasant - has a rustic feel to it. People are friendly. The wines were great - and we bought some. Lone Wolf (Lenoir grape), Pinot Grigio were our favorites.

Burros and donkeys nearby.

Really enjoyed the scenic drive to get to this place. Upon arrival the sight of this rustic facility was very appealing. Once inside we decided upon a tasting and wandered about the facility. Wines were very good and the Western Art and decor that adorned the walls truly enhanced the overall atmosphere. Would visit again!!

We finally had a chance to visit this winery. Cute place. Looks like an old western set. The donkeys were there to greet us and roamed freely around. Unfortunately, the pizza restaurant was closed because the cook had some medical problems. The wines were good but not outstanding. The reds were much better than the whites, but that is our taste preference. Our server was very nice and informative. Cute place.

My husband and I did a tasting at Chisholm Trail last weekend. The winery is close to the cabin we had rented for the weekend, so it was convenient. I loved getting to see the donkeys! We each tasted three wines, and ended up buying two bottles. We probably would have bought more, but we are in danger of being overtaken by wine!

The drive out was pretty. I liked the rustic atmosphere. But we went because I heard it was kid friendly. The donkeys were not there. They said their land is big and they roam. My kids were disappointed. They also didn’t have the pizza oven going. The cook was sick. So we did a tasting and left. The wines were ok to me. But I wasn’t blown away by anything. My husband really enjoyed the merlot. Enough that he purchased a bottle. A good place but I doubt we would go twice.

This boy is a cute little winery that is off the beaten path. The wine was ok. For my personal taste I really enjoyed their Merlot. It was not dry at all and had a really nice flavor. I even bought a bottle. The rest of the wines I tried were just ok. They weren't "bad" just not my taste. Sadly, their pizza chef is still out with a bad back. They had a cheese and fruit tray, but that was it for food/snacks. It is worth the drive, but if you are going planning on their highly praised pizza, I would call ahead first.
