We are "train" people (travel by train whenever possible) so this was one place we had to visit. The displays are fantastic and very well set up. The two ladies working during our visit were very friendly and helpful.

Nice museum with lots of trains and things to see to make for a nice outing with kids. It was a hot day so the trains were a bit uncomfortable to walk through.

Saturday mornings they give train rides. Too much to see in just a couple of hours. Great model railroad exhibit. RPO car was nicely restored.

this place is awesome i loved it and to a degree missed the idea of the good old 1900s it sound like a great time of ultimate possibilities, and opportunities. a time of hope and global prospering . good old industrial revolution.

The museum's collection comprises various trains/cabs, memorabilia, historical photographs, and model train sets, housed in the former railroad passenger terminal.

Another place to go back in history! This is a wonderful place to pretend you are in charge of a railroad, drive a train, search through all of the cubby holes, and discuss history with your children! Railroads are very important to all of us!

Nice, but it didn't seem like enough of the cars were restored and open for viewing. What we saw was O.K. but for the money, I have to say I expected more.

The Ghosts are life size white figurines of passengers from the 20's, 30's lounging in the waiting room. In the back railway yard you can explore the old trains. During season, there is a train ride available.

I was amazed at how much they have accomplished in their clean up after Hurricane Ike. The museum is a wonderful place to visit. We really enjoyed being able to go on the cars in the yard.
