this is the best house museum I have ever been to. The artwork and the porcelain collection are fantastic and when there are not many people there, you can a private tour with the docent (which are all excellent guides.)

it's a tastefully furnished mansion with the world's largest collection of Worcester porcelain,.. during a family day in Bayou house, once annually a heritage bus takes visitors to this mansion as well... a gentleman was playing the piano, and it was great to stroll through the rooms and the grounds

The home was a combination of high society entertaining and family warmth in a magnificent setting.
