South tip of island Grudgingly paid the $5 to enter but was happy when boat launch/warf area had pelicans sitting on posts less than 5 ft away! Nice area of Padre Island we went to the The North end and the South of the Island. Every thing is so built up it is nice to go somewhere that is not so built up.
