Some reviews talked about the beach other places (for free) but we didn't find them. For only $5 entry fee, this place is huge and has all the amenities you need. We went Memorial Weekend and it was crowded but still the beach was clean, lifeguards on duty, and umbrellas everywhere! Don't plan on "renting" the chairs and umbrellas... $35... More

Here at Isla Blanca, you can park your car in the paved parking lot and then go for a walk on the beach shore. During the summer they have a little store in the BIG gazebo. There's also public restrooms and showers. There's also shower heads near the gazebo where you can rinse off. There's also picknick tables if you... More

You aren't going to get a TV or free internet here, but these cabanas for the price are very nice. For $35.00 a night off-season and $70.00 a night during season. You get a set of bunkbeds, and one single bed. (These beds are a little bigger than a twin bed, but smaller than a full). There were 5 of... More

Great beach with lots of parking, one of the nicest in Texas. Good for surfing when there are waves. Great sand and water,

South tip of island Grudgingly paid the $5 to enter but was happy when boat launch/warf area had pelicans sitting on posts less than 5 ft away! Beach can be accessed by walking from hotels further north. Beach area here has much more shells for beach combing. Also more jellyfish washed ashore. Fishing jetty nice area to watch people fish... This shouldn't be so highly rated! Complete waste of $5. The hotel we stayed at had beach access, but I was wanting a change. I read that this beach had "white sand",lies! This beach is covered in liter, which is sad. I also planned for us to habe a nice picnic on the beach. As soon as I unwrapped my... More

I guess the saying goes, you get what you pay for, but wow. The check-in process was fast but finding our actual location to set up camp was difficult. When I called the phone number on the map no one had any idea what i was talking about. The website advertised warm hot showers and restrooms. I expierenced the complete... More

What a great park to park your tracer trailer, rv, or simply launch your boat out off. The park in its self is large with many amenities such as showers, BBQ pits, and jetties from where you can fish from. The price for rv parking is 35-40 a night and includes; electricity, water, cable, and dump. My family and I... More
