A friend and I drove to Uncertain, TX just for a ride on the Graceful Ghost. And, we were not disappointed. Caddo Lake was beautiful and mysterious. The crew on the boat was delightful and informative. And the company was great. I thought $20 a person was a good price for a boat ride of any kind but especially on... More

You must go here! A real steamboat on Caddo Lake. Unique setting and experience. Kid and family friendly. A little pricey, but worth the cost.

This is a must do if you get to this part of Texas. The tour host was very informative, funny, entertaining and the ride was comfortable. If you haven't been on Caddo Lake this is the way to do it. This would be fun for the entire family.

We stayed in Caddo Lake and took this tour; we thought it was well worth the fee; very informative and entertaining, thanks to Captain Gibbs. :) The water was very low, so one of the few ways to view this very different lake/swamp in East Texas. We did take the time to drive to the Louisiana side of the lake... More

Captain Ron and his crew did a great job of taking care of us. Very informative during the cruise. First time in a steam powered paddlewheeler. 1/4 scale ship of some blueprints found in archives.

You will need to book your ride, maybe the day before. The ride has to have 12 passengers booked before it can do a tour. Before you have negative thoughts here, remember it takes 1 1/2 hrs. time before the tour to get the head of steam pressure going. This is an orginal model of the old steamboats. It is... More

I am so glad that you enjoyed your tour. I really appreciate your kind words, however, I would just like to correct one point, we require 6 adult tickets before we take out the steamboat, not 12. I strive to make your trip as interesting and enjoyable as possible and sincerely hope you will return in the future to ride... More

Captain Ron, took us back in time on a hour plus trip into the back woods of Caddo Lake. The trip was fun, historical and cool, even on a hot July day. We are planning a trip back on the steamboat to take our grandchildren.
