We made a quick stop here for some doughnuts and cider. It’s too bad we didn’t have more time, because there’s a whole lot more to this place than doughnuts and cider! The cinnamon sugar doughnuts were warm and fresh, and the cider was piping hot. It was a little strong for my Mid-Western tastes, but after trying other New... More

Where to start .. this place has EVERYthing; all local Vermont maple syrup products and cheese of course ... but fresh bakery including cider donuts, venison sausage, fresh picked apples, hard cider, pick your own raspberries, lots of parking and out door picnic table seating .. DON'T drive by this place.

I'm so glad we stopped here on the way out of Bennington. We picked up some fresh Vermont apples, apple cider doughnuts, an apple pie, and some of their amazing Vermont cheeses. Everything was exceptional and the service was very friendly. One of my favourite experiences of my trip was melting a piece of sharp Vermont cheddar onto a warmed... More

What a pleasant stop. Such nice people working there. One in particular said he was from Jamaica. So friendly. The apple cider doughnuts are out of this world, and cheap! 2 doughnuts, coffee and a coke were under 5 dollars! Well worth stopping for.

This is a good place to go for many different kinds of baked goods. They also sell fresh vegetables and fruit (apples, duh!). There's also a big variety of Vermont-themed gifts, from real maple syrup to cheese, t-shirts, hard cider, bird houses, and more. The staff were very friendly and gave us a lesson in the different grades of syrup.... More

Great fall trip. Every year we visit this shop and I will never get tired of it. We travel the Mohawk Trail evey year and when we get to Williamstown MA we always take RTE 7 into Bennington VT to stop here. They have a great variety of gifts, home-made pastries, cheese, candy, and fresh hade-picked fruits of the season.... More

My elderly mother and I were there actually about 3 years ago and came across it on one of our wild, off-the-beaten-path, scenic road trips from the Berkshires to Quebec. We loved the family and their patience with our never-ending questions. We strolled, nibbled, and sat literally for hours around that store. It seemed that the family knew all the... More
