Lovely home; everyone should visit at least once. Learned a lot about Thomas Jefferson that I didn't know before. More

I'm not one for historic 'stuff' but felt compelled to see Monticello. So glad we went - what a great tour! Only paid for the downstairs and don't feel like I missed a thing. Very informative, interesting and I never realized what a genius Thomas Jefferson was! His gardens were amazing! I enjoyed walking through them more than anything! More

Monticello is less than 30 minutes from where I live. Although I live here and have been several times, it is always a great place to visit. The house is great, but the gardens surrounding it are also very nice.The new visitors center is a wonder addition. More

Monticello is absolutely amazing. The house tour is really only the beginning of what your ticket pays for. Seeing the inside of the house that Jefferson designed and lived in is awesome. The drive to Monticello was beautiful, as was the home and landscape. We enjoyed looking around the gift shop and displays prior to boarding the free shuttle to take us up to the main house.
