I am a true Sandgroper (West Australian) and have been to the pinnacles many times over the years. They are an amazing wonder of nature and a' must see' place to visit when one comes to Western Australia. Even though it is a comfortable 3 hour drive from Perth up the Indian Ocean Drive (through Yanchep & Lancelin) it is... More

The rock formations are amazing. We went to Pinnacles today 18 May 13. Cloudy, so couldnot see sunset. Very interesting to see the rocks and we can only be speechless. The entry fee is only $11 and the scenes are wonderful.

If you're anywhere near the Pinnacles, you just have to go and visit. We drove from Perth to see them while we were on holiday, and although the weather was not the best, we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselved. The rock formations are amazing and like nothing else I'd ever seen. We did the walking tour before going to the information... More

We have been visiting PERTH for the last 23 years to visit our daughter and family. They said they would take us to see the PINNACLES as they had seen them 22 years ago but now it would only be a 2 hour trip from their home near HILLARYS BOAT HARBOUR. We got to CERVANTES and had the best lunch... More

This is a very small section of a much bigger park. You can walk it in about 2 hours to see most of the pinnacles themselves. Although I wouldn't hike it during the summer as it can get above 40 degrees. Bring a lot of sunscreen, or better yet, an umbrella. This would be a much nicer place to visit... More

The Pinnacles weren't quite what I was expecting but I loved them anyway. I could have spent all day wandering around looking at them. We did a sunrise and sunset but it wasn't as spectacular as expected. Late afternoon was beautiful colours.

You need to see it. Somehow weird to see such formations in the middle of nowhere. But a must see with a lot of photographic possibilities.

We drove to the Pinnacles from Fremantle stopping enroute at Yanchep and Lancelin. It’s about a 3 hour drive with no stops. We timed our leisurely drive (stopping at Yanchep and Lancelin) to arrive for sunset but unfortunately, although our timing was great, we arrived in the middle of a huge thunderstorm. The park is set back from the Indian... More

Wonderful remoteness marred only by a road through the pinnacles which wasn't there the first time I went.

Just wow. You drive along the trail, and there are plenty of places you can pull off and hop out to walk around. The views as the sun sets is amazing, especially when the moon rises at the same time. Spectacular, not to be missed!
