The gift shop was nice. Had nice things to buy but a bit pricey. The elderly lady working was kind of short and snappy. She wasn't really tourist friendly. Did not go into the museum as there was a charge and we felt we did not have enough time to visit it properly

Great Place to learn about VB history. They have a nice size gift shop with friendly staff. Please note that they do give tours of the lighthouse for a nominal fee

We enjoyed this except for a few of the homeless folks glaring at us and moseying along behind us. This is apparently a favorite spot for the local homeless.

We stopped by here to find a geocache outside of the building and ended up spending over an hour and a half with Carl as our guide inside the museum. There wasn't any one waiting for a tour so he gave us a lot of extra interesting info about the area & the history of beach rescues & the coast... More

I came to Virginia for the Shamrock half marathon and 8K and I saw this while running the 8K. It looks like and old house sort of thing nestled in between the hotels on the beach. $4 to get in and you get some history from one of the volunteers. Tom was working when I went and his grandfather ran... More

This little place is right on the boardwalk and is well worth stopping into. I bought some note cards made by a local artist who placed an original photo on the front of each one.. for example, sea glass, starfish, crabs, sunrise, ocean, etc. There is a museum with a guided tour for a small fee. The two ladies who... More
