A beautiful theatre offering a good selection for Bellingham entertainment. Just being inside this old building and enjoying a bygone view of theatre as it should be is an experience.

Intimate live theatre experience packed with talented performers - always offers a superb variety of plays and entertainment. An unexpected but delightful jewel in Bellingham! Love the community spirit but I would rather not receive so many mailouts and frequent phone messages about upcoming productions. We live in Vancouver so attend when we're able.....but always enjoy the experience.

This is an old theatre and our family have been here countless times for concert and plays. Parking is difficult if Otis a sold out event.

Seen a couple things here. Great theatre, but just make sure to look up the cast and their bios of the shows you want to see because some of the shows aren't so great. But really enjoy the theatre, the experience, and the location.

We always enjoy the shows at the Mount Baker Theatre. We saw Chris Morgan Live: On the Wild Side. It was an intriguing show about Chris' work with bears and other wildlife. Chris is charming and funny and a great speaker! The MBT is the perfect venue for family shows (like this one) and for date nights (like seeing Ryan... More

Bellingham is a small town with a fervent arts community. The Mt Baker Theater hosts a variety of venues so I am only describing the venue itself. The building has all of the attributes of an old world theater - lots of details, eclectic etc. A visit is worth it if only to see the old theater itself.

The theater is beautiful. The show was excellent. It is well kept though the bathrooms are scarce for the amount of people the theater holds. Very nice employees.

When I was a child it was a movie theatre. I have always loved it, beautiful woodwork, red velvet, chandeliers and a balcony. They have live performances there now, you can watch broadway shows, comedy acts, and small intimate musical groups - I saw Death Cab for Cutie there.

My wife and I attend 5-6 Whatcom Symphony Orchestra concerts per year and have for the past 15 years. Built in the 1920's, it's been beautifully restored and is a great place to take in a concert.

Good view of stage from any seat. Not too large like arenas or stadiums. Sound system wasn't too good that night. Go early if you want parking close by.
