My mom and I found a Groupon deal for this company, and purchased the Groupon, redeemed the coupon on their website, and booked our slot within 15 minutes on the same day as our tour. Unfortunately, the only tours available by the time we booked were leaving from the Orcas Island location, which required a ferry ride that cost over... More

We chartered two boats for 13 people as a part of a friends bachelor weekend. The guides were knowledgeable and very patient with a group that varied in skill from beginner to amateur and leaned heavily toward beginner. Not everyone caught a fish but I caught four so I was really happy. We ended up catching 20+ fish and five... More

Good time for the 2 of us, after a slightly disorganized start, the kayaks & equipment arrived and we set off. Beautiful route to doughty point and a nice relaxing time at the point before we headed back. Saw 1 seal from a distance, lots of beautiful star fish and amazing views. We did this through a deal on Groupon... More

Our guide was John. Friendly, easy-going guy. The trip was moved to Ship Bay because it was so very windy on the other side where trip was going to leave. Beau or Bo rescheduled with us for 11am, instead of the original 10am. Worked well for us, as our house rental was located right on Ship Bay. We spotted birds,... More

We went early in the season so we were nervous we wouldn't see much. But we were quite surprised and excited by all the wildlife we were able to see (including two Orcas)! Paul was very knowledgable about the land, sea and wildlife! Great customer service and overall experience! Would go again in a heartbeat!

We went whale watching and did not see any whales, unfortunately. It is the off season so we knew the chances weren't great. However, John made sure that we saw as much wildlife as possible including steller sea lions, harbor seals, bald eagles and lots of other animals. Also taught us about the geology and ecology of the region. We... More

Much to the delight of our 12 person group, The Blackfish II crew found a family of three "transient" Orcas that we viewed for 45 minutes late in the afternoon. No other whale watching boat in the state had any whale sightings that day - very early in the year for the resident pods to return to the San Juans.... More

We had an amazing experience on our tour. Being the off-season, we knew that we may not see as much (the whale pods aren't back yet), but we wanted to go anyway. We are so glad we did! During our three-hour tour, we saw sea lions, seals, bald eagles, otters, and two different varieties of porpoises. We didn't see any... More

We wanted to treat our family from California, which included collectively three teenagers, to whale watching and fishing in the San Juan Islands, where we spend our summer weekends. The 26' boat, with Tory as our guide was the perfect way to do this. We all had a wonderful time. The entire trip brought us together in a way that... More
