Yes, you have to work a wee bit to get here. 16 miles from Leavenworth, the last 3 miles or so unpaved. Suck it up. It's worth it.

This is a great trail, takes a couple of hours and has a lot a varied terrain to check out. The river gorge is beautiful and the open vistas are stunning as well. The walk is flat too, so it's great for young and old alike!
Took this trail early in the morning before heading out of town. Had the trail all to ourselves until the end where we ran into a couple of folks. It's very easy and the gorge is really quite nice so it's worth the trip/time to go and see it.
Ended up here today because of a forest fire at 8-mile lake, where we intended to hike. Icicle Gorge is more than the written description indicates it to be..
