Don't miss the regional historical displays including covered wagons and indiginous peoples artifacts. Good for families--everyone will learn. Always something fun happening in this beautifully maintained facility. Located on the grounds of Franklin Park where the kids can run and play. The Museum Ice Crean Shop is delightful for lunch and snacks.

The children's underground has basically been gutted - this was our favorite part of the museum. The exhibits are a bit stale.

Visit the ice cream soda shoppe on the ground floor! Current exhibits are fun and worth the time. Air conditioned makes the time worth while.
