This also houses the State Museum. Culture comes here. From concerts, to celebrations, to lectures by world famous authors, this Center has it all. One can even check genealogical records and the state library.

I have done events in the main lobby but had not had time to tour the exhibit until this week. What a wonderful job the staff has done putting together a tour of the ages thru WV.

the cultural center has a WV museum in the basement that is really done well and it's hard to believe it is here in Charleston. The museum has the feel of many larger museums in DC, but its all local stuff and exhibits. Don't miss this place.

The W V Cultural Center provides an excellent walk through the scienctific and historial aspects of WV. As one rides down the escalator, you are greeted by a recording of the present governor. The museum update is wonderful. Whether you are a native or just passing through, this is a must-see attraction when visiting West Virginia's capitol city.

There is something for everyone at the Cultural Center. The state museum is there as is the Archives. Lectures are presented monthly on a variety of topics.
