The trails at this park are fabulous. If you've never been here, this place is a must see. I learned to scuba dive in this lake.

Pack a picnic and enjoy the beach. The water is clean. We loved taking a walk around the basin. The grandkids climbed the rocks and didn't even break anything. It was great.

My wife and I travel here a couple times a month to hike, swim, snorkel and in the summer take in the Friday night catered fish fry on the north shore. We love camping here and taking time to hike all the trails. Throw on a pack and hike both bluffs, takes about 2.5 - 3 hours but is a... More

Love to hike, bike and hang out here. Beauitful lake with gorgeous hiking trails. Can camp, rent canoes and the lake is popular for diving. The rock formations are breathtaking.

We spent a couple hours here on our last trip to Wisconsin Dells. This is a great place to burn off some of the vacation calories. We hiked up the balancing rock trail and back down the pot hole trail. The view is amazing, the trails are well maintained, and the park is very large. I can't wait to go... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the views of the water at Devil's Lake. It was beautiful in the prime of summer and wonderful for hiking. We went there to rock climb and hike. It was quite muggy there and the water did not seem to relieve any of the humidity in the air. Also, there wasn't much shade where we were at... More

Lived in Colorado for quite a while and miss the mountains. This is the best approximation of the Rockies in the Midwest of which I am aware. Avoid summer weekends and it's not too crowded on the trails. Very, very professional, cordial, and helpful ranger staff. Trails range from short and tough to gentle and relaxing. Get away from the... More

This was my 1st visit to Devil's Lake State Park, even though it was cold there was so much to see. Going camping over Memorial Day and so excited that will give me another chance to check out what else this park has to offer.

I was born and raised in Baraboo so I've been going to DL (Devil's Lake) for nearly three decades! You would never think you could find a place like this in Wisconsin, but when you experience it, you will be thoroughly satisfied! There's so much to do... Hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, scuba, wind sailing, volleyball, basketball, cook outs, kayaking... More
