I visited here for work and really fell in love with the place. Take a stroll along the beach downtown and enjoy a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. The water is crystal clear and very inviting. If you are in the area, this is worth a visit!

Lot's of unique specialty shops. If you like to dress one of a kind scheik you need to shop the boutiques. The fabulous lakeside architecture from century old to recent construction can be breathtaking!

Great little 2 day get away from Chicago burbs. Cute little town and shops. At night there are nice little restaurants for dinner and drinks with a romantic flare. Great for my husbands and I busy lifestyle:)

Nice in fall, a bit crowded in summer. Interesting to see where old Chicago money played/plays. Nice place to hike around the lake on the public access path in the fall with nice leaf colors against the background of the mansions and lake.

We love this lake for fishing and boating. I enjoy viewing all the homes and the great landscaping. My husband loves the fishing, boating, and he fishes all year long.

We went on a boat tour on the 1st of December, the last tour of the year. It is a very beautiful lake and the house (mansions) are wonder to see. The boat captain gives a great talk and history of all the places around the lake. We would love to see it during the summer.
