A short distance from Highway 94, between Madison and Milwaukee, Lapham Peak is a very nice park. Big hills, old trees, a lookout tower to climb and electric bathrooms / warming house near the parking lot. There are also pit toilets in strategic locations. We hiked this time, but cross country ski, snow shoe and bike there, seasonally. People were also... More

LOVE this park. Frequent it throughout the winter for cross country skiing (HILLS GALORE) and snowshoeing. The hilliness is a bit freaky on my skiis but exhilarating. Beautiful spring, summer and fall hiking. SCENIC!

We love to ski the cross country trails...and it is a pure joy! We have been going there for years and it never dissappoints. The new shelter is an added bonus, and the wood burning stove warms the heart as well as the hands.

Wonderful place for hiking, biking and skiing. The varied topography gives you a hills almost everywhere you go. The Greenbush Ski Trails are varied, often challenging and groomed almost daily. Greenbush also had a lighted ski trail & heated shelter. If you are a skier, dont' miss this place. The Henry Ruess Ice Age Center is a nice visit for... More

I live right at the edge of the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. There are endless areas to explore. Hiking, snowshoeing, swimming, biking. I've been here for nearly 20 years and still haven't seen it all. Check out the Ice Age Center near Dundee.

Camped at Ottawa Lake Campground, as well as along the Ice Age trail in the shelters. Great escape close to Milwaukee. I visit here evry couple of... More

Great place to go for a hike. I head out to Kettle Moraine South and North many times a year to hike, snowshoe, camp, mountain bike and just to relax. It's not far from the city of Milwaukee and a great place to escape to.

We drove through the Kettle when the trees were at their peek. Some of the colors were so bright they looked neon and hurt your eyes to stare at them. God as the artist makes this drive fabulous.
