This shop is absolutely worth seeing. There is a room size diorama showing the history of the entire area 1800 - 1900 in miniatures. Never seen anything like it. There is also what has to be one of the most unique collections of stuffed African and U.S. west animals in the country. Take time to visit this attraction.

The miniature museum is a must see! It is really interesting and they do a good job of sharing the history of the area through the miniature displays.

Free to visit and fun to visit, be sure to stop here after your visit to the pioneer village across the highway. This place is run by a very nice couple and the display is fun to look at. Go there if you can.

This is the best find on our trip and we are so grateful that we were told about it. The gentleman who loves it so and has given his life to this collection and display deserves a medal of honor for his unselfish nature. I hope against hope that this collection is not sent in a 100 different directions when... More

We visited the Old West Miniature Village and Museum and loved it. It is in the back of a souvenir shop and only asks for a donation. It provides a detailed history of Buffalo Bill and the taming of the west through miniatures, voice presentations and some interactive exhibits. We enjoyed it very much.

We had driven by this a few times while vacationing there. From the outside you think it's just a tourist trap to get you into their store, but we had some time to spare so decided to stop. It's a HUGE room behind the store, and the entire center of the room is a miniature old west world. There are... More

This small museum turned out to be a charming little treat. A vast and fascinating working model takes up most of the centre of the room with buttons to press to make trains run through hillsides and commentaries start, which kept us entertained and informed. And it was free -with a purely voluntary donation at the entrance and no pressure... More

We stopped in here just before hitting the highway to head back home. So glad we did! The amount of work that has gone into the display is incredible. The amount of other artifacts and how well they are displayed was also a pleasant surprise. We bought a few items in the gift shop, and if I'd some extra money... More

A very interesting miniature set up the kids should enjoy. A lot of work went into constructing this. It says it's free, which it is but give them a donation for all the hard work that went into it.
