We loved our visit to the Historical Center. We decided to go last minute due to bad weather interferring with our outdoor plans. I now glad that it was raining and our family got to tour this center. It was very educational and fun at the same time. All of our kids loved it, ages 16, 14, 10, & 7.

5 museums in one and you can't see it all in just one 2-hour session. Plan to stay the day at least so you can see the enormous collections of western art, western artifacts, Plains Indian collections, largest gun collection in the USA and lots and lots more. They have a wonderful gift shop also on premises and you can... More

We spent a few hours at this museum, which is actually 5 museums in one. My favorite was the Buffalo Bill Museum. It detailed his life as a Buffalo Hunter, guide and showman. The firearm museum was very informative, it had about every American gun that has ever been available. Expect to spend 2-3 hours there. It was money well... More

Complete history of Buffalo Bill and the West in a very beautiful bldg. It has so much history that it would take at least 3-4 days to completely view and absorb it

We learnt a lot of the history of the area and the life of William Cody including bringing his show to England. Well worth a couple of hours

The facility was top notch. The only downside was the limited restroom locations, and the fact that patrons are hostage to the food concessioner.

We spent part of a day here and toured a couple sections of the center (Buffalo Bill and the firearms displays). This will be a must-see for us next time we're in Cody.

I'm going back today but I can write this on the strength of what I saw yesterday. I only had two hours but you can go back on the same ticket with a UV stamp on your hand so that's what I'm going to do. I only saw the Draper Natural History wing and, if the rest is as good,... More

You can not see everything in one day. The center is divided into five major sections (Yellowstone, Native Americans, Buffalo Bill, Firearms and Art). Each section you could spend hours and not see it all. In addition there are frequent demos (we saw live rattlesnakes and then raptors). Very family friendly although some sections would not keep the attention of... More

Best museum ever! People were very friendly. The ticket was for 2 days. We enjoyed the professional quality of the displays.
