This is the second time we visited this Museum - first time 11 years ago. My wife and I are not art affectionatos - but the paintings in this museum are breathtaking. If we ever get back to Jackson Hole will definately visit again.

The visit was much better than I expected. Love the animal sculptures that dot the entrance. Lots of native, western art. National Geographic photos were excellent, ancient pottery, and kids exhibits, all beautifully displayed. Cafe had excellent selections for lunch or snack and very nice gift shop.
Beautiful building with interesting facts about the area. Overlooking the Elk refuge just outside of town.
This museum contained much more than I expected. It is full of wonderful paintings, sculpture and artwork. I would recommend this as a stopping point on any trip to Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons.
Beautiful building and wonderful art. I did not have enough time to really enjoy it as it deserves. The sculptures were fantastic. When we were there National Geographic had a traveling photo exhibit really moving.
The building is impressive from the road but even more so when you get to the entrance and go inside. You could spend hours here. Great view of the Elk Refuge across the road, the have a telescope. Do take the time to visit.
We did not go through the Museum galleries but had lunch here as I had seen it recommended on Trip Advisor.Brilliant spot as views over the elk refuge grasslands and mountains.Food was great. We had pulled
beef on a fresh bun and side of coleslaw, hamburger with chips, iced tea and soft drink with refills for $24. Great value for delicious...

From the museum you can look across the street to the wide...
