My boyfriend and I went scuba diving - I am certified and he is not - he had to take the Discover Scuba Diving Course. We both had a great experience and felt very safe the whole time. Doug and Bob were great at explaining all of the necessary skills for scuba to my boyfriend. Bob was a great instructor/... More

Any time we're on the Big Island I use Waikoloa Coast Divers. Doug and his son are excellent dive masters and give personalized service based on the divers experience. The boat is newer, the max divers I've seen has been 6 but sometimes it was me and another guy, they have a snack/trail mix, fruit and water between dives. During... More

Great dives! We saw Mantay rays, octopi, and many many tropical fish. Diving in lava tubes was amazing. Convenient to meet the boat on the beach. What helpful, knowledgable and professional staff. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a safe and fun time diving. I highly recommend Waikoloa Coast Divers!

I hadn't heard much about the diving in Waikoloa. Most people dive near Kona and I didn't want to drive 30 minutes each way. After reading reviews about Waikoloa Coast, I decided to give them a try. They exceeded my expectations. The boat (a Newton 42) was amazing despite the slight water stroll to board. Not crowded and with excellent... More

Definitely the place to rent gear if staying near Waikola. The staff was friendly and helpful with finding good beaches and snorkeling spots.

Call Doug if you want a great diving experience when you're in Waikoloa A-Bay at the Marriott. Doug and his son James treated us great, took us to several good places over a 3 day period. We did swim-throughs, saw lots of great coral, dolphins tracking us next to the boat, saw an eagle ray, turtles, a couple sharks, and... More

The Waikoloa Coast divers is the perfect outfit. They are a small group with only a single boat which means no big groups or the " cattle car" dive boats. We dove with no more than 4 of us. They have a knowledgable, professional crew that took their time with us. We have been diving for 10 years so they... More

If you're looking to dive in Waikoloa then look no further, Doug, James, Brooke and Gail really looked after us. The boat equipment they provided was excellent, they really know the dive sites and where to look for all the sea life (they found us plenty of white tip reef sharks, octopus and eagle rays to name but a few)...
