This waterfall is pretty, you can take a couple of pictures and I would recommend just because of the ease to access this place. I would recommend going if you have an hour or two, we went on our way to the airport just before returning the rental car. Situated just 20 min from Kauai Beach Resort (in Liuhe), it... More

We drove the long road up expecting to see the Falls up close. You have to lean over the railing at the top to get a photo. It's about 300 feet away. No real trail down to see it up close. A young couple went down a muddy slope and got close, but it was quite slippery and dangerous.

This is an awesome double waterfalls! But to really enjoy it, you should hike down to the bottom of the falls. Most people just park their car and view the water falls from the vantage point. If you really want to get the full impact of this waterfalls you should hike down to the bottom. Let me WARN you! There... More

This was our last stop before going to the airport and it was a great way to say goodbye! Gorgeous falls and very peaceful to just sit and listen to the roar. Only drawback is limited parking, and when we went there were 3 street vendors that had taken up the parking spots to sell their wares (that left probably... More

We wish we could have seen these falls when there was much more water. Without it, they were lovely, but not spectacular.

This was well worth the short drive. We also saw it again on the helicopter tour! The guide book even describes how to hike down to the base if you feel adventurous and wore the proper attire!

very limited parking, traffic jam, but a beautiful waterfall. A few vendors in the parking lot, but did not look. Worth the 30 + minutes to enjoy

While traveling around the island, it can be a bit daunting the drive if you are unsure of where you are going. But the road leads to a dead end that is the falls. You can hike down but it is not recommended for beginners - there are the side road, hand made sellers but they are really nice and... More

Close to town, it's worth the drive...once. It would be better if you could see it from the base of the falls, but getting there is dangerous.

Kauai's scenery is already beautiful, but when you see Wailua Falls, it's just amazing. Obviously take your camera, but have it out while you're riding to get there, the scenery is beautiful.
