The museum is very well done. It is small but there is a lot of history in there with handheld audio recorders which give you information to go along with the sites if you want. The cost was $3 a person. They also will validate your parking for 3 hrs if you want to shop at the mall for awhile... More

Actual equipment and weapons used to capture these huge animals is on display as well as well as how the sailors lived at sea. This would... More

The museum is small, but full of interesting items telling about harsh life on the boat, and lots of whale teeth carvings, I highly recommend visiting even if it will require a drive up. When leaving the museum, go toward ABC store, this is where a whaling boat is displayed, looks surprisingly small for chasing a whale. There is a... More

The museum is in the Whaler's Village Mall. It is on the 1st floor. It does cost a little to enter. Pick up the recording device at the entrance to listen to the descriptions of what you are viewing. It was very informative. It takes you through history of whaling. There are many artifacts. After the museum we went into... More
