Like others have already mentioned this is not a traditional luau. No pig roast etc. The luau is beside the beach in a sunken theatre with a stage at the front however you cannot see the water from this seating. Everyone sits at 16' tables on plastic chairs. The food was more like a cheap cafeteria style buffet. Definitely not... More

This is not a real luau feast. They have a pig that they dig out from this fake underground oven. Then they whisk it away and you immediately get a buffet of average run of the mill hotel food including shredded pork! The drinks are awful. Performances are from the polynesian islands and are decent. However, the fake looking stage... More

This is great fun for all. I have seen this show three times and I find it entertaining everytime. The kids will love the fire dancers. The teenagers will even like the show. It is not your normal luau, get prepared for some serious drumline demo. I think it is the best on the island, even better than the Sheraton.... More

Me, my husband and our 17 month old went to this luau. It was very nicely done. It's right on the beach so you get a bit of a cool breeze. We purchased our seats the day of so we just got general admission but even those seats were pretty good. (In fact, I was talking to a lady in... More

We all know that luaus are set up for tourists but we thoroughly enjoyed being tourists. The event is well organized and runs smoothly. The drinks were free flowing and the food was regional and very tasty. No one goes away hungry. The show is professional but warm. I would suggest you invest in preferred seating for a better view.

My wife and I went to the Drums of the Pacific Lu'au while staying at the Hyatt Regency in Maui and we're glad we did! It was a lot of fun! Being guests at the Hyatt, we got a slight discount but it seemed that it was around $95 or so per person for the show, dinner, drinks ( included)... More

Fun for family..food okay. Show was decent. Drinks no good. Overpriced. They try to sell you items throughout the show after you pay $130 to see it. Don't buy VIP...Your only about 10 to 15 feet closer than the rest of the seating.

This was a fun way to spend the night. The cost was around $104.00 per person. Your food and drinks were included. The show was interesting with the different dances presented to us. There was the typical fire dancer that acted kind of Tacky sometimes but he was talented (he could drop the comedy and still be impressive). They had... More

so so we went back in 2008 for our honeymoon and this luau was a perfect ending for our week in Maui. Amazing food, entertainment, and drinks. Very much worth the money. But I have struggled with one thing for 5 years. My husband brought me a pink drink from the bar that was the best drink I have ever... More

We purchased VIP tickets because I always want to be first when food is served buffet style - if ya know what I mean. Upon arrival you are wisked off to take a family or couples photo which can be purchased for $20 after dinner. You are given a lei and welcomed to your seat. Be sure to arrive 30... More
