Our sightseeing / nature cruises sail along the shoreline of Frenchman Bay and see summer mansions, Egg Rock Lighthouse, highights of Acadia National Park as well as bald eagles, harbor porpoise, seals and other sights and wildlife. Trips are 2 hours long, pet friendly and sail at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 6:30pm (Sunset tour in July) or 6:00pm (Sunset tour in August)daily. Our other tours include: Puffins, Lighthouses & Seabirds tour, Family Friendly Fishing Trips, and our fall spectacular Somes Sound Fjord Harbors Tour. All tours leave from Atlantic Oceanside Hotel, 119 Eden St., Bar Harbor, ME. We offer FREE ONSITE PARKING! A real plus in Bar Harbor! At the end of your tour, come visit the Sea Dawg Gift Shop at 47 West St. and pick up a souvenier!

“Information and Insults”

The "naturalist" guide for this boat nature cruise provided good information, coupled with a cruise-long string of insults such as "we're just interested in your credit cards" and "we call you 'people from away' to your faces, but we use other names behind your backs". This is a good nature cruise, and you won't be tempted to leave the tip... More

My Mother and I took the morning scenic cruise around Acadia National park. We were very impressed with the guides knowledge of the area and history related to properties in Bar Harbor. “Excellent experience on the water”

Nice boat with good amenities; VERY helpful crew (I had a bum knee); naturalist that knew history, geology, animals; captain that gave everyone a chance to look at things. Highly recommended if you'd like to see harbor seals, bald eagles, and various water birds.

“Worth the time!”

It was not the warmest of days when we decided to take this trip but the excursion was well worth it. We were supposed to take a tour of the National Park, but it was closed to tours, so our hotel was substituted this cruise for us.
