Enjoyed the leisurely stroll & esp. liked the "tidbits" of Bar Harbor history which added to our delight, printed in both French & English - a nice touch for our Canadian neighbors.

Nicely taken care of path along the rocky shore. View of some nice older homes and Inns. Pleasant walk, great photos. Incredible views at any angle. Must see.

Starts at the pier and loops to return via streets where it ends. Offers great views and one or two stopping places to sit and contemplate. We saw a cheeky, pretty fearless red squirrel who posed nicely for us. Some stunning property too, one or two in a sad state of disrepair.

Right in town, starting at the town pier, this nearly mile long path meanders along a stunning stretch of the harbor with amazing views of offshore islands and distant mountains. It is flat, easy to traverse and is simply beautiful. Truly not to be missed.

The shore path starts right by the town docks in the downtown area. As you walk along you'll have a great view of some lovely mansions on one side and boats and ships of all sizes on the other side. You can climb around on the rocks below the path if you want or just sit in the sun. A... More

What's better than a walk along the shore in Bar Harbor? The Shore Path takes you between the main dock and the edge of downtown, with some stunning views and great sea air. And it's free. So make time and walk, or jog it one morning or evening.

Definitely enjoyable and would reccommend to anyone visiting Bar Harbor, Maine. Such a peaceful stroll or can be jogged. Nice place to unwind and take photos, watch boats, seagulls, and breathe the fresh air. Even in cooler months a warm jacket and a nice walk here will leave you feeling great!

The most beautiful sights anyone could ever see ... right here in Maine. The Atlantic Ocean is so beautiful and I love Acadia National Park. Visiting for the day and hiking the shore path or having a picnic is always a wonderful way to spend a summer day in Maine. It is so peaceful.
