I have been to San Fran a number of times but never went to this place until this week. WOW. If you are a foodie or just love unique foods you have to go here. There is the Blue Bottle Coffee Co, a cheese chop, a butcher shop, a fish monger, a market, a few restaurants, a bakery, a gluten-free... More

The Mariposa bakery has good gluten free options. It is nice to be able to get gluten free baked goods. Just a note to them however, they recently hired a light haired woman who has an obvious serious skin disease and that is very off putting when you are buying food items.

We went to the Ferry Building via the F line trolley car on a Saturday to enjoy the Farmer's Market. The hours were from 8am to 2pm. The Farmer's Market is around the outside of the building with views of the bay & GG Bridge. We loved eating our way around. Anything you can imagine was being sold by local... More

I absolutely love this place and the Farmer's Market! There are so many stalls selling fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, cheese, bread and cooked food. You can try many samples like peaches, cherries, cheese, different dipping sauce etc. The store owners are all very friendly and are willing to explain all the differences between different types of products. It is... More

I've been here several times, but never get tired of it, and it keeps getting better. Be sure you are hungry when you go to the Ferry Building since there are many restaurants to choose from. When I stayed here in March for 3 days, I was here at least five times. Its especially fun when the Farmer's Market is... More

Selection of places to eat and variety of foods is great. Ability to sit indoors or out is wonderful. I enjoy having a coffee and pastry and sitting on the waterfront promenade watching the ships in the harbour. Building is full of history. Worth a visit.

Saturday market is a delicious experience. So many stands, selling so many wonderful foods. We visited several of the outside stands as well as the permanent vendors. Many people were offering samples of their wares. We bought bread and fruit since we were only visiting, but there were many delightful things to tempt us.

We went on a Beautiful Saturday Morning and really enjoyed the Farmer's Market, the vibrant colors of the Fresh Fruits and Flowers were gorgeous! I took some beautiful pictures, my husband sampled lots of fruit, we both enjoyed a cooking demonstration. We did a little shopping and a little people watching, there were a couple of street performers that were... More

we really enjoyed our visit to the ferry building! We spent at least 2 hours there, sampling many different things from the vendors. There are fresh breads, flavorful fresh cheeses, sweet treats and several different places for lunch. Go on a Saturday to also experience the farmer's market and artist fair outdoors

A great spot to spend some time, relax and enjoy the architecture as well as a premium place to shop and eat. Enjoyed a great a meal at Mijita and had a wonderful desert at Ciao Bella.
