I would love too live in one of the houses off the steps it's such a pretty place, its so unusual. It's not that bad a walk up just take your time and the views are lovely. Coit tower at the top too you can see for miles up there.

To some, this might be just a bunch of steps. But take it in, and you'll notice increasingly dramatic views of the bay area, as well as nice little houses on either side of the steps. It's springtime, so the flowers and plants smell incredible!!! If you're going up to visit Coit Tower, you need to take the steps!

So we made this exhausting jaunt up these stairs, after climbing the huge hill to get to the stairs mind you, JUST in search of the 'parrots'.....never saw or heard a one.
