The Blue Grotto / lagoon is a must see when you travel to Saipan. The north tour isn't really worth doing, but snorkelling / diving at the Blue Grotto is, it's absolutely beautiful site to see and the water is very clear. However, if going there with children and not with a tour company, just be careful of the climb...

The Grotto is a a huge hole that exists in the wall on Saipan. It is located on the north end of the island past the Suicide Cliff where the Japanese jumped to their deaths in WWII. This is truly a wonder of the world. Problem is that if you want to Scuba you have to carry all of your...
