there is an interesting tension between books lovers and wine drinkers here: the wine drinkers tend to block access to the books! anyway, great selection of books of every possible description, priced a bit high. very nice wine bar and tables amidst the books shelves that provide nice cozy places to chat with your wife, etc. a neat place.

What more could you ask for? Good wine, good books, a dog or two laying around, interesting people, some munchies, a cup of coffee or two? If you love wine- go! If you love books, particularly old treasures- must go! If you're a dog fan- even better! If you are all 3 like my husband & I you can't miss this when in Asheville! The building is amazing, the art, oriental rugs, lighting- it's executed BRILLIANTLY!

I loved this place. I knew I was in the right place when I saw the sweet pit bull sitting on the sofa. My dog got to hang out with us while we had some beer and hummus. The kids loved looking around at the books. It's like a maze upstairs; very cool!

Bring your dog, hang out, buy books AND champagne? I don't know that it gets any better! We simply adored it here.

A wonderful pairing-- bookstore and wine bar! Roaming through the maze-like interior can be quite fun. There's something here for everyone. One could spend hours here and it would be time well spent!
