The overall experience is fabulous. One thing that was so perfect was the fact they would ship the item you worked on to your home, as it could take over a week to complete it after you painted it. This meant fewer items to pack for the return trip!

My first visit to any type of place like this with my two kids. Awesome!! I could have painted all day long. So relaxing, and friendly staff.
Definitely an awesome experience! Prepare to spend some time here, as the painting itself can take a while if you want to do anything detailed, but every minute was tons of fun. They have lots of tools to help you create whatever you want. Our complaint was that although there is a big chalkboard upon entering that explains the fees,...

It was fun to work on a project. The lady working there had her son (approx 5 or 6 yrs old there) there with her. Although he tried to be helpful, he sometimes interrupted his mother while she was with customers.
My kids loved the experience of painting and creativing a masterpiece in ceramics. They were able to pick out ceramic piece to paint and then we came back later that day (sometimes the next day) to pick up the finished piece (glazed and completed finish). Very economical also, located on a beautiful downtown street with many other shops and eateries
This paint-your-own ceramic place is in a great spot on Wall St - we like to choose a table by the window. Some nights they have music. You can BYOB and have a glass of wine while you paint your choice of ceramic items. They have a lot of very cool shapes of platter, bowls, and really just about anything...

alot of different things to look at, interesting variety, support local artist, not little kid friendly due to alot of glass work out for little hands or bodies to knock over
We loved the novel idea of glazing your own pottery, creating your own jewelry & the convenient downtown location. The owner was very accommodating & happy to help as we had never done this before. Every artsy town should have one of these & tourists should try it, it's so fun!
A Fun ,creative way to spend time with your family or friends, making a gift for someone special or just for yourself, great pieces to pick from to paint and kiln.Cute atmosphere in downtown asheville.
This is the most fun you will have and for not much money! I have done it several times. They are helpful and nice. The best part is that you are generally in there with kids, so when you look around your piece looks worse than the 10 yr old's next to you! Can't help but bring a smile to...
