Saw the production "This" and was very impressed with the production and esp. with the caliber of acting. While I'm no expert, I hope I am now on their email list as we will come from 1.5 hours west (Franklin) to see future productions.

Good choice of theater, excellent production choices, equity acting, and new dynamite seats. If there is a play on, try to see it. We have had season tickets for at least five years and would not miss it.

...you'll love NC Stage. Equity actors in an intimate venue. The show I saw, a comedy, was excellent. They are next door to the Rankin parking garage which is very cheap. Convient to many downtown restaurants.

I love seeing plays at this little out of the way theater. The talent is always terrific and the selection and variety of events is very good. Just saw Go Granny Go last weekend and Angels in America last year.. and a few others in between.

Saw an excellent version of the Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. Even seeing it for the third time it was hilarious. The stage is a bit rustic but worked well for this production. Enjoyed the microbrews available in the theatre.

Not a bad seat in the house. The audience is so close to the stage, it's almost like watching a giant TV screen. A great venue for local talent.

I stopped in to see the one man play about Buckminster Fuller, and this was local theater at the top of its game: great staging, great acting, great space. As good a theater experience as one could find anywhere.

I have experienced 4 shows here, and loved three. The subject matter of the 4th was not for me. They do an outstanding job of performances and presentations here. This is especially so once one considers the limitations of the smaller stage and building etc.

Have interesting plays with small casts. Very intimate. Seats aren't terribly comfortable.

Best contemporary drama in the city with a continuously updated schedule. Well worth a visit for this small venue.
