We stopped by sort of close to the end of the day so were in a little rush. We saw the signs but never could find his grave. Still, for those of us who like cemeteries, you should check it out. It's in an interesting neighborhood.

Drive or walk this historical landmark for a tour of Asheville's history and the literary history of our country.

A group and I went.We walked the whole place.The headstones were just fasinating.Lots of sailors with anchors some others with tree trunks ,some pretty marble angels.Very well maintained for driving or walking.

It's beautiful - especially in the springtime. Many famous people are buried along with generaltions of Asheville citizens. It's a great history walk.

I know this sounds weird but I absolutely love visiting cemeteries in cities. This one is a beautiful atmosphere with ancient tombstones, vaults and botanical gardens. Alot of history in an amazing area

We downloaded an app to our iphone with a cemetery tour - it was rich with history and local flavor - well worth the 7 or 8 dollars for the app.

Some great history. O'Henry and Thomas Wolfe are both buried here. Great civil war graves. A beautiful setting, but extremely hilly. Grandma may have to wait in the car at times.
