My wife and I were in Asheville for a short getaway and happened on this place while looking for a quick drink. We were drawn in by the music and warm atmosphere. Drinks were pretty decent, I tried a local artisan moonshine and my wife had a Kir Royale. Nothing to rave about, but pretty good and very reasonably priced....

Great bands and reasonable drink prices. Waitresses were pleasant and attentive. Worth a visit just to watch the crowd.
As a straight local I had heard that this place was mostly a gay/ lesbian club but having been in a couple of times thought it was ok with my kind. Stopped in late on a sat night with a group of 10+ straight folks and we never gave the issue a second thought. Good time, jazz band was rocking....

Enjoyed a party upstairs and had wonderful food (spin and artichoke dip was great and great antipasti), the servers were very knowledgable and friendly, great music as well!!
Local star place like Shelia S. And the all the other celebrities in the area! Great service and Skull is a great guy who representive to greet you at the door!
Highly recommend the Butt-smackertini-crazy name for a crazy good drink-bartenders were great as well, very attentive!
We visited Tressa's on a Friday night because it was recommended for music. There were just a few things that were a little weird for us:
- Signing in before you can enter?
- There is only 1 local beer on the menu, I expected more from a local Asheville bar

The venue is called a club inside and so you are asked to sign in. It is deep and moderately wide. It is attractive, clean and well stocked. There are numerous tables and additional chairs along the wall....
