Amazing street full of good shops and restaurants! It was really crowded but we enjoyed it nonetheless!

It is nice to stroll down Newbury street and peek into the stores, stop for lunch and also to look at the beautiful buildings. It is THE place to go shopping in Boston.

My daughter and I really enjoyed shopping. We didn't buy much, 'cause a lot of the stores were pretty pricey. However, there were some good sales and I loved that the stores are in old houses. You feel like you are just walking down a nice street and not a really commercial district. Signage is certainly obvious but not obnoxious.... More

A nice walk. I would love to have seen this street years ago when it was residential. Now all the houses are shop fronts. Great shopping if you have cash. Or just walk. Joe's American Bar & Grill saved me. It was hot and a quick lunch turned into a three hour recharge. Great Boston feel. Great kid's menu, Chicken... More

Fantastic street full of boutiques and top designer brand names that read like a who's who of the runway royal family. If you want top names, a visit to Newbury Street is a must.

Enjoy walking from the Public Garden down to Copley Square and seeing all these upscale shops and some nice cars parked on the street. Makes for a pleasant afternoon stroll on a relaxing lazy day with some fun window shopping.

Since this was two weeks after the marathon day bombing, our visit took on special significance. First the fun stuff: We ate brunch at Met on Grand which was very good. Walked the entire length of Newbury street from the Public Garden to Mass. Ave. There is something for everyone to window shop or grab a snack or drop lots... More

Upscale boutiques next to upscale consignment shops...what could be better? There are also salons and cafes mixed in. At one end you have the Public Garden/ Boston Common and the other direction leads you to Copley Square as well. Parallel to Boylston Street.

Beautiful street in the Back Bay with many shops and restaurants. There is a mixture of small, independently owned shops/restaurants and chain stores. Many places offer outdoor seating in the warmer months. The architecture of many of the buildings is interesting. It is worth a stroll on a nice day.
