Just make sure you are aware of the location of your seat in the theater. We were not adequately informed about the potential for "limited visibility", which means I was seated directly behind a pillar. Fortunately the acoustics were very good!

I lived in Boston during the eighties and the BSO was outstanding. A recent concert however, proved that the legacy has been broken. We went to a movie night where John Williams was conducting. Even though the concert was somewhat short and the building, although grand, historic and charming, needs a little refurbishing. But John Williams at Symphony Hall - a must do and chances are that combo is going to get rare.
