It's the average tourist place. We are not big Elvis fans, but it was neat to see where he was born. A little expensive to buy a ticket to go in the tiny house. Nice gift shop.

If you like Elvis, then you must visit this location. The chapel is very impressive and they have a car that is similar to the one that carried Elvis and his family from Tupelo to Memphis. Souvenirs are available for purchase and you never know who might be touring the site when you visit.

Elvis is definitely the golden hometown pride and rightly so. There is a lot of history there for Elvis lovers. They have a big gift shop, museum and a theater where they show a film about Elvis's young life that is a bit cheesy and left me wanting some explanations. It will be gorgeous when the dogwoods bloom.

Unfortunately, I arrived too late to do this attraction justice. However, the staff were very kind, and opened up the tiny cottage where Elvis had been born. I got to visit the shop, and picked up a CD with a good number of songs from across his musical career. I have not been to Graceland, but what Tupelo offers is... More

Brilliant!!! That is all I can really say about this place. I loved it so much I went there everyday for the three days I was in Tupelo, You can never get enough. I so loved the small plaques outside Elvis' birth home depicting from the time of his birth until they left for Memphis in 1948

The birthplace home of Elvis is worth seeing because it is such a modest shack. It is humbling to think what he achieved from such simple beginnings. the highlight is the chapel which is beautifully presented with an excellent audio visual experience. Quite moving. But don't waste your time on the young Elvis films how. Airbrushed and mawky in the... More

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon if you are an Elvis fan. Worth the drive if you are in Memphis at Graceland.
